two days more than 350 Illegal Immigrnts Surrendered to CBP Agents

More than 250 llegal immigrants, including woman and children, are in Border Patrol custody following a mass surrender just south of Granjeno.
The incident happened in an area known as "Rincon Village" just south of Shary Road in Granjeno around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
U.S. Border Patrol officials confirmed that a group of more than 250 illegal immigrants crossed the Rio Grande River and surrendered.
Another group of 100 immigrants surrendered in the same spot on Monday.
Border Patrol officials said the area has become a hot spot for illegal immigrant crossing.
Over the past few weeks, the Rio Grande Valley has seen a record number of illegal immigrants from Central America.
The immigrants are being taken into custody and released with paperwork to appear in court.
Border Patrols officials have brought in extra agents to help with the increased workload.
