MEXICALI, MX- Police say two people are in stable condition after being shot at while waiting in line to cross into the U.S. from Mexico.
It happened around 3 Tuesday afternoon near the Mexicali/Calexico Port of Entry.
Calexico police tell News 13 an
individual walked up to the driver side of a vehicle on the Mexico side
and shot at both occupants 8 times.
They say the shooting suspect was with a group who fled from the scene to a nearby shopping center.
One person from the group was arrested by Mexican police.
