yuma Graffiti Mom Son Arrested

A 17-year-old male was arrested after school for being linked to dozens of graffiti incidents.

Yuma Police Department says the teenager has been linked to about 40 incidents of graffiti around the city of Yuma since 2009.

The teenager's mother, 39-year-old Valeria Guerra was arrested yesterday for hindering prosecution and two counts of attempting to influence a witness.

YPD says the charges stem from a recent attempt to bribe a victim not to prosecute her son.

Police say the teenager is responsible for over $7,000 worth of property damage.
