Weapons, drugs, cars and money seized in Reynosa

Mexican authorities seized multiple weapons, drugs, cars and money on Friday in Reynosa. It happened around 3 a.m. while military troops were out on patrol. The patrol is part of “Noreste” , an operation to decrease drug trafficking and organized crime in the area. For weapons, authorities seized 25 guns, 144 ammo clips and 5,300 cartridges of different calibers. Over 551 pounds of marijuana and $53,500 were taken from the vehicles. Authorities are hoping “Noreste” will increase the public’s confidence for safety in the area. |
