Non-U.S. visitors cause Mexico tourism to grow
Mexico Tourism
Mexico
reported a 77% increase in visitors from Russia, a 61% rise from Brazil
and a 38% increase from Venezuela, In the first half of the year, While U.S.
travelers dropped 1% .
The Major number of visitors are still from the U.S. and Canada. but the other countires percentage is moving up from places like Russia, Brazil, Peru and Columbia.
Mexico expects tourism visitors to be over Twenty-Four million visitors in 2012, while last year the number was over Twenty-Three million.
The gross domestic product is about Ten percent from Tourism!
Recently Mexico has faced Security issues, the Bird Flu, an Egg Shortage, a possible Tomato war, Election and the Population is hanging STRONG!
Improvements have included, entry of foreign visitors using their U.S. Visa country wide and not being made to obtain a Mexican visa! Cutting a large amount of Red tape.
A new online service is in place around the clock to aide travelers from Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Peru, Russia, and the Ukraine.
Travel has seen many improvements including road up grades!
Mexico does all it can to continue making the American, Canadians welcome.

The U.S. Department of State does still recommend that visitors use common sense, monitor the news and make decisions based on current events in the area where you travel, the same holds true even in the United States.
