voluntary recall of Alden's Peanut Butter 'n Chip, 48oz and Cascade 
Glacier Chocolate Peanut Butter, 3 gallon that contain peanut butter 
associated with the Sunland, Inc. recall. The peanut butter used in this
 product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. As you 
may have heard, to date Sunland, Inc. has recalled 75 products after 
learning that twenty nine people reported Salmonella Bredeneye PFGE 
matching illnesses in approximately 18 states. These products are 
distributed nationally to a number of large supermarket chains.

On June 5, 2012, 
Stryker initiated a Class 1 recall of the Neptune Waste Management 
System. The devices are being recalled because Stryker has received two 
reports of serious injury as a result of tissue damage associated with 
the use of the Neptune 2, including an event in which one customer 
connected the Neptune 2 System to a passive chest drainage tube post 
operatively, resulting in a fatality.

Sunland, Inc. today 
announced a voluntary limited recall of its Almond Butter and Peanut 
Butter products, manufactured between May 1, 2012 and September 24, 
2012, because these products may be contaminated with Salmonella, an 
organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young 
children, frail or elderly people, and those with weakened immune 
systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience 
fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal 
pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the
 organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe 
illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), 
endocarditis and arthritis.

Administration (FDA) is voluntarily recalling a limited number of 
packages of Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt 6oz. that were inadvertently 
mispackaged —limited quantities of Somersaults Santa Fe Salsa flavored 
product were inadvertently commingled with Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt 
flavored product in packages labeled as Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt 
6oz. The inadvertent commingling of these two products introduced 
another allergen (milk) to the Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt 6oz. 
packages, and that allergen (milk) is not listed on the packaging as 
either an ingredient or an allergen.
