Yuma--If you have any prescription drugs and want to safely throw them away?
Yuma County will participate in the 5th annual national prescription take back.
The Drug Enforcement Administration, and community partners are teaming up to give the public an opportunity to turn in unwanted prescription drugs.
The Yuma Police Department will host the event Saturday September 29th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The purpose of the take back is to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, and unused prescription drugs.
